DAY TWO: Cat Condo Building Project

DG continues to building the cat condo for Haven Humane with the support of the Home Depot Foundation!

Three volunteers from Home Depot supported us today with our building project. ๐Ÿ”จ

There was a lot of action today: sawing, drilling, and a lot of teamwork in the beautiful sunshine. โ˜€๏ธ

The boys and volunteers worked really hard and brought the cat condo project forward. ๐Ÿฑ It was a fun time of working in teams on different parts of the building. We are so proud of the boys of putting all their energy today. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ We can't wait to see the finished project next week.

Meet our session heroes & sponsors:

Haven Humane Society | Since 1952, Haven Humane Society has been caring for lost, homeless and abused animals in the Redding area. Our founders recognized that city and county resources could not support our mission of providing shelter and humane care for all animals who come through our doors. Instead, these concerned citizens created a charitable non-profit organization that is privately funded by people who believe all our four legged friends deserve love and respect.

The Home Depot Foundation | The Home Depot Foundation works to improve the homes and lives of U.S. veterans, train skilled tradespeople to fill the labor gap and support communities impacted by natural disasters. Since 2011, the Foundation has invested more than $400M in veteran causes and improved more than 50,000 veteran homes and facilities. The Foundation has pledged to invest half of a billion dollars in veteran causes by 2025 and $50 million in training the next generation of skilled tradespeople through the Path to Pro program.
